Question

What does the AI assistant say when a customer asks several questions at once?

Answer

It answers each one in turn, as a list of points, each with a source label. If there is no content for one of them, it says so separately and offers a handoff only for that one.

The answer in detail

When there are several questions, the assistant answers them one by one, and the source is shown next to the answer. As described on our How it works page, the content comes from the online store’s product pages, price list, shipping terms and FAQ.

If no content has been uploaded for a question, the assistant does not guess. It says it has no answer to that question, asks for contact details and hands only that part to a colleague; it answers the rest.

What you need to upload

  • shipping terms with fees and delivery times
  • product pages with full descriptions
  • an FAQ on the frequent questions
  • the returns process and its deadline

Sample conversation

Customer: What is the shipping fee, how long does delivery take, and is this coat in stock?

AI assistant: The shipping fee depends on the cart value, and the delivery time is shown on the product page. This coat is in stock now.

Customer: And can I ask for a discount on it?

AI assistant: I have no information about discounts. If you wish, I will pass the question to our colleague.

Customer: I will order on Monday: when will it get here, and is there an accessory for it?

AI assistant: We dispatch products in stock according to the shipping terms. The accessory is shown on the product page.

Customer: And can I discuss the details by phone?

AI assistant: I cannot arrange a phone call. Please give me your contact details, and our colleague will get in touch with you.

Customer: All right, I would rather discuss it by email.

AI assistant: Please give me your email address, and our colleague will contact you there.
