UNAS integration – what does it mean?

How it works

The connection has two parts. The assistant reads the online store’s product data with a read-only API key and does not write to the online store. The update runs automatically, hourly or daily.

The other part is the widget, whose code snippet has to be placed in the website theme. Our team carries out the onboarding; if we do not have access to edit the website, your web developer places the code snippet.

An example from a company

A customer of a UNAS online store asks whether a product is in stock, how much it costs and when it will arrive. The assistant answers from the synced data, and the source is shown next to the answer; if the information is missing, it asks for contact details and hands the question off to a colleague.

What this means for business owners

The UNAS connection requires a read-only API key, so ask the provider who sets it up and what it can access. Also ask what happens if there is no answer in the knowledge base. The right answer: the assistant hands off to a colleague.

If the stock figure is left without a sync, the assistant may give yesterday’s data; ask where it takes the figure from. The risk: the customer gets incorrect information, and the company loses a sale.

How we do it

Our team carries out the onboarding, and before go-live we check the assistant with ten test questions. Products, prices and stock are updated from the online store hourly or daily.

The Chat AI Starter monthly fee is €14.90 / month excl. VAT, with an allowance of 500 answered questions per month. The onboarding fee is €200 excl. VAT; it is €100 excl. VAT with a 6-month contract and free with a 12-month contract, and you get an 8 or 15 percent discount on the monthly fee.
