Short answer
The calculator works from four figures: the number of customer questions per month, the time needed for one answer, your colleague’s hourly rate, and the share of questions handled by the assistant. From these it compares the work time freed up, and its value in euros, with the monthly fee of Chat AI Starter. The assumptions are yours, and the formula is visible.

How the calculator works
The work time freed up is the product of the number of questions per month, the minutes per answer and the share handled by the assistant. Multiplied by the hourly rate, this gives its value in euros, from which we deduct the monthly fee of Chat AI Starter. We estimate the number of questions arriving outside business hours using the ratio from our own 90-day data: today these typically get an answer only the next day.
What it does not calculate
The calculator does not estimate conversion, cart abandonment or retained orders, because we have no measured data for them. It does not include the onboarding fee either, because that is free with a 12-month contract; you will find the setup fee for the monthly and the 6-month contract on the Pricing page.
When it is not worth it
If only a few questions arrive each month, the work time saved is small, and the assistant is more of a convenience service. According to our own data, the median number of questions per month for small online stores is 14.5, and for the top tenth it is above 60: in the latter range the difference is already visible. Frequently asked questions about the calculator
Where does the default hourly rate come from?
We calculated it from the 2025 wage statistics of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH). You can change it to your own figure at any time; the calculator recalculates immediately.
Why does it not calculate an increase in conversion?
Because we have no measured data for it, and we do not promise anything we cannot prove. The calculator only puts a money value on the work time saved.
What happens if the number of questions exceeds the Starter allowance?
The calculator shows a notice and refers you to the Pricing page, which lists the allowance and fee of the Business and Professional tiers. There are no surprise invoices; we send an email at 75, 90 and 100 percent of the allowance.
What does the share of questions handled by the assistant mean?
The percentage of questions for which there is an answer in the knowledge base. This depends on the uploaded content; the assistant hands the other questions over to your colleague, with the contact details of the person asking.
Does the calculator save my data?
